The recognition was awarded through the Medicare Beneficiary Quality Improvement Project after FCMC successfully fulfilled all eight Critical Access Hospital quality infrastructure elements. These measures recognize areas including leadership accountability, workforce engagement, continuous improvement, community involvement, and the effective use of data to improve patient care.
